Each year, students from The Governor’s Academy travel abroad during March Break to participate in formal student exchanges. In 2011, 14 members of the junior class were selected to visit five remarkable sites.
Traveling to Kenya are Alfred Cerrone, John Dresser, Meg Mullin, Tatiana Philidor, and faculty chaperone Mr. Gerry; traveling to South Africa are Elisabeth Bogart, Cam Means, and faculty chaperone Mrs. Hamovit; traveling to China are Ben Holloran, Tina McGrath, Galaxie Story, Madison Tsao, and faculty chaperone Mr. Rokous; traveling to Honduras are Emma Conry, Ceci Reyes, and faculty chaperone Mr. Brace; and traveling to Navajo Prep are Milan Gary, Matthew Kelly, and faculty chaperone Mr. Searles.
During their journeys, and whenever they have access to the internet, members of the Govs community will be posting blogs about their experiences. We invite you to follow along!
